Study Square is a new social learning network. Study Square provides a platform for students to excel academically by collaborating with one another in classrooms. Tutors can easily be found by students and hire them through our system and use our revolutionary online tutoring platform. It's FREE to join for EVERYONE. Students can get the help they need immediately, hire a tutor in seconds and begin their sessions. Everything is done in the web browser, nothing to download. The students can even watch their session as many times as they want after the session is complete. A meeting place for people is usual termed a "Town Square". So we thought Study Square sounded fitting. It is easy to remember and to say as well and sticks with people. Study Squares development has taken two years to build up to this point and to make it a reality. It has been 100% me for the first 1.5 years, then I brought on a great developer who has helped me for the past 6 months. Currently I have 4 people assisting me with media development. I have always been a dreamer and had an entrepreneurship spirit about me. I always wanted to change the world and what better way than to help students find the help they need and be able to provide laid off teachers or new grads that haven’t found a job yet; a job. I funded this venture out of my own hard work and savings. I work as a freelancer and take the majority of my earnings and use it to pay for the server, daily upkeep, development costs, etc... I wanted to be able to do this myself and not use other people’s money. It has come to a point where I am no longer able to bring Study Square to the masses like I wanted without proper funding and a team. Our closest competitor sold for $30 Million to a large online book seller (not amazon). There technology doesn’t even compare to with what Study Square has built into it.
