Is free market capitalism more controlling than socialism?

With Socialism it's upfront you know what the government controls and what you get. In free market capitalism everyone seems to be promised the world but only lawyers and directors get the cream. You think you have choices but it yields more of the same...

  1. No
  2. No, in a strongly capitalistic society like ours, average people can become billionaires. People that started Google, Yahoo, Intel, Apple computer, Amazon, etc are all billionaires. Oracle's Larry Ellison was just an average guy and less than 10 years ago he was listed as the richest man in the world. What keeps everything in check is our constitution, laws, and non-corrupt judges. ( Interestingly, the first group of Americans in the U.S. were the ones that initially setup courts to resolve business disputes. Surprisingly, their want for civil and fair decisions greatly increased America's wealth over the last several hundred years. Without them, patent law wouldn't have started as early in the U.S.. )
  3. Only if your stupid and dont know how to count
  4. You don't understand capitalism. In a capitalist society, I don't purchase a good or service unless I, myself, feel it is a good value. Fudge the gubmint.
  5. No.
  6. Most attorneys are just hardworking upper middle class citizens. Free market capitalism does not exist. Capitalism is a game that works best within parameters set forth by the rule of law.
  7. There's really no such thing as free market capitalism. Capitalism manipulates the economy just as much as socialism, but in different ways. We have regulations, tariffs, anti-trust, FTC, monopolies, and plenty of insider deals, all of which render the term "free market" rather meaningless. What we have in America today is more like socialism for big business rich and free market capitalism for small business and the working stiffs. Similar to Banana Republic economics.
  8. You would probably enjoy reading what Noam Chomsky has to say in several of his books about the American concept of "The Global Economy". It is both enlightening and frightening. Basically, the American idea of "Global Economy" is, "You buy whatever we want to sell you, and we get to decide what we will take from you in return". Do you realise that in some 3rd world countries American cigarettes are STILL being advertised as promoting health and the virtues of Male virility? The Malborough Man still lives! How "controlling" is that?
  9. No. Free Market Capitalism drives prices down, not up.
  10. kill the leadres
  11. I still prefer free market environment !
  12. Gates isn't a lawyer, Ray Croc wasn't a lawyer, Sam Walton wasn't a lawyer, neither were Hurst, Sears , and many other of our richest citizens. In Socialism, you are told just how far you can go, before the government will punish you.
  13. Get rich quick schemes in the capitalist business world, (buyouts, IPOs, conglomerates, acquisitions, mergers, and the stock market), do not actually work. Remaining solvent does not actually exist within false economics capitalism. Profit existing in the capitalist business world, or millionaires existing within capitalism, is pathological deception committed by the 21 organizations spying on the population with plain clothes agents, (with covert fake names and fake backgrounds). Actual economics is the persons paying the monthly business loan payments of companies voting at work in order to control the property they are paying for. Capitalism is the psychology of imaginary parents, false economics, and the criminal deception of employees that are paying the bills (including the stocks and bonds, or shares) of companies. Anti-Democracy republicanism is the psychology of imaginary parents, and false government.
